replacing fusible links

i have a 85 gsl-se and would like to know how to change over to the new links from the 2nd gen. i was looking at mine and there alot of wires it looks like to change over to the colored links. if you can send me pics on info about it i would sure appreciate it.

why do you want to change them. they are set up at a certain amperage for a reason.

Not to sound like a jerk, but I bet if you did a quick search you could find some write ups on this subject, cuz from time to time it does get brought up.
