there are 3 " antifreeze" hoses. which one are we talking about? the upper radiator hose, the large lower radiator hose or the skinny lower radiator hose.

regardless of which one it is removal and installation is somewhat simple. get a bucket ( preferably something that will hold about 3 gallons ( there is not that much in there but still....) then place it under the radiator hoses at the bottom.

undo the clamp holding the large lower radiator hose to the radiator and let the antifreeze drain in to the bucket. removal of the other hoses is the same just undo the hose clamps and have fun. installation is the exact opposite just slide the clamps on to the hose and hook up both ends and tighten the clamps. make sure to tighten them at a point BEHIND the lip of whatever you are attatching it to. you want a good seal that will withstand some pressure.

and remember to dispose of your antifreeze somewhere that it wont make its way in to lakes, rivers, drinking water, and such.

almost forgot, you may have to use a screwdriver or something similar to break the seal of the old hoses. just be careful not to damage the connecting points too much.

If you have the money I'd highly recomend replacing all the hoses. The Rotary engine does not take kindly to overheating.

You should be able to get new hoses at any local parts store, Carquest, Advance Auto, Autozone, NAPA. Or you can order them online from Mazdatrix.com

You will also most likely want to get new hose clamps for all the hoses that you are replacing, also available at your local auto parts dealer.

As to getting the hoses off, I usually cut them off, as they tend to stick and become hard to remove.
