If you have a good working Cat (new bonez is perfect), new plugs, correct timing, good working air pump & ACV, properly adjusted stock carb / idle mixture (lean), and all other smog crap is inline / okay.... Then you should pass with a street port.

A new cat makes the biggest difference. Also make sure to get it nice and hot and dont turn off the car the whole time your there.

SS5 was great!.. I relearned some weber carb jettings but forgot it already hahhaa No Nooo.. its not a emissions BBQ derr..a engine rebuild BBQ..yes the socal7 guys who put on SS have monthly get togethers
