RENESIS in my GSL-SE

======================================
They have already tried every exhaust combination possible, every intake combination possible, have tried using the factory ECU, and even a FULL MOTEC ECU running everything.,
Leaning it out/richening the mixtures, everything was done on a Chassis Dyno.
They were brutually honest in telling us many, many things about how great the Renesis is.
HOWEVER,
Even with Multi-Million Dollar Funding, they are averaging only about 203 RWHP on the cars, and the max they have put out is 206 RWHP.
=======================================
Those numbers look familiar. My 12a J-Bridge with ceramics, 48 dellorto 42mm chokes, ISC header coated, RB dual presilencers and Supertrapp with 23discs put 205rwhp to the ground with 30 degrees total timing. But gets much worse MPG and is much louder than the Renesis.

High flow cat, CZ2 piggyback, 10lb flywheel, light/underdrive pullies, cat back should total another 25+ at least. Total 230rwhp
I have not seen any dyno's with all those mods made. However, even being a little off, all that in the FB chassis would be amazing. That was the point of this project.
Too much car for a one handed driver.

Still for sale, to finish it I budgeted about $25k. My guess is that I could not have sold it for more than $8k-$10k. Probably less.
It was totally a ME project, and it would have been very satisfying - but not if I could barely drive it. I am selling the RX-8 as well.
Will probably replace it with an MDX or some other vehicle that will not tempt me to modify it every day. I am still pushing forwar on the electronic shifter project though. That may help in the future. Basically converting it to paddle shifting electronically.
If anyone wants a very nice GSL-SE chassis let me know.
New brakes
new struts
new A-arms
Suspension Tech Sway bars
Urethane bushings
MODA 15x8 wheels
MOMO steering wheel
EGT gauge
AFR gauge
Urethane PPG yellow engine bay - very fresh/shiney
entire front end has been sand blasted and Cd plated or painted - every nut/bolt/wahser individually blasted/plated
RB muffler/pre-silencer [sorry sold the headers]
Gray paint
Core engine with complet harness/EGI system
addl' set of rotor housings <1000miles
MANY xtra pieces/hoses/ nuts bolts/ brackets, etc
ALL or nothing, I am not going to part it out - too much work. I am going to post this info in a few places for a month or so. Highest offer takes it.
pictures - here
I will be happy to answer any questions.

For Sale forum
Enjoy. Someone make an offer. The aftermarket parts alone are worth $$. Take a look at the pics.

1stRX8, I absolutely support you 100%, and I have wondered about doing what you're doing right now myself.
I've totally immersed myself in this project and I'm really interested to hear updates and view pictures of the process as it comes along.
I only wish I could be there to witness this taking place. Man, what a project!
Document, document, and document some more!!!

Hoping for $2,500 or so.
Like I said, make an offer. I am going to give it a few weeks offering it to the enthusiasts, highest offer in a few weeks takes it. I don't know what the real value is, I have spent tons of money and time on it - which I have no plans of recovering. I have owned the car for 12 years and stored it as is for the last eight at significant expense.
It's time for the 7 to go. I am not trying to make any money.
