won't fit on the 81-85 body.

However, the new lights on the Lambo Murcialago kind of remind me of the simple exposed lights on the SA. Superficially, but the resemblance is there.

Well life isn't all easy bolt-ons Although it'd probably be easy to just cut out the tail section of an SA and weld it onto an FB.

Customization. Plus, I like the SA tail end better, not just for the taillights but also for the rear bumper. I prefer standoff bumpers to molded-in bumpers. Clean SA's are kinda hard to find compared to clean FBs.

There's an SA sitting at my local wrecker's - clean body, blown engine, first $400 tows it away. You could put FB mechanicals in it if you were so inclined.
