Exclamation Removed ACV and now idles low....

I removed the air pump and converted to RB presilencer a month ago and now just got around to buying a ACV block off plate. Take off the ACV and slap on the plate. After warms up idles low around 450 RPM instead of my normal smooth 800 RPM. Am I supposed to complete the electrical circuit that WAS there and is now just a haning connector that used to go to the ACV??? There wasn't any vaccum lines going directly to the ACV but to the plate in the intake. What am I supposed to do? I heard RB makes a writeup on removing the air pump and ACV with header installation. I got my header used, no paper. Please help ASAP. Thanks!!!!!!!!

could be that broken nut. if one side is being torqued down then it is possible for it to be leaking.

That's not a pic of the thread starter's plate, that's someone answering a request for a pic of the ACV block-off plate.

I'd say not, seeing as he's ordered an ACV gasket, presumably for the block-off plate (why not RTV?).

I can't say for certain one way or the other, but if the guy says he can't get an idle right after blocking off the ACV the first question is, "Did you use gasket material?".
