remove air pump

should i or should i not... it says "never remove" . hahahha its a GSLse with a RB testpipe

if you have any converters at all, dont remove it. if you have no converters, go ahead. the air pump supplies fresh air into the exhaust to not only help clean the exhaust emissions but to cool the main converter.

im about to remove mine, i think they have a blocking plate on on racing beat..

no block off plate for the air pump. the air control valve, yes. remember that removing the air pump doesnt yeild any horsepower gains.

That being said, its nice to no longer have the whooosh of the pump at idle.

yeah, we had a taurus that sounded like it was turboed. and a camry that had a vacuum leak and it sound even more like one
