RedlineGoods.com - looking for pics of our FB shift boots!

Hi everyone,

this is Maciek from RedlineGoods.com, we make genuine leather shift boot, brake boots, armrest covers, etc. for many cars. For 2+ years we've had a full line of products for the FC and the FD.

As of a few weeks ago, WE HAVE A LEATHER REPLACEMENT FOR THE UGLY RUBBER SHIFT BOOT MAZDA PUT IN THE FB!.

The person who promised to send us pictures doesn't even respond to emails anymore (I guess the anti-spam filters are catching it), the offer we've announced a while back is still open.

Which is.

A genuine italian leather replacement for the FB shift boot, in any of the 16+ colors of leather we have available and 20+ colors of thread available, costs $40.

To those who would be willing to buy one, even though we don't have pictures of it yet, we'll give you 100% of your money back when you send us those pictures (provided they will be decent enough to use on our website and in forum threads).

If you're interested, please post here and/or email me at maciek@redlinegoods.com

Or, to get going right away, just PayPal the $40 to PayPal@redlinegoods.com and make sure to provide info about colors of leather and thread you want.

The boot is a 4-panel one, so you might want to consider two-tone color combos also! Find examples here: http://www.redlinegoods.com/TwoTone.shtm

Offer valid until we get the first pictures in, to a limited number of people (no more than 5) on a first-come first served basis. The timestamp on your PayPal payment decides.

If you'd like to make sure this is a legitimate offer from a company that provides a quality product, please check our other threads here with tons of positive comments:

FD: http://www.rx7clubs.com/showthread.php?t=362180

FC: http://www.rx7clubs.com/showthread.php?t=362182

Pictures of our products for the later gens of the Rex here:

FD: http://www.redlinegoods.com/FDproduct.shtm

FC: http://www.redlinegoods.com/FCproduct.shtm

Thank you for considering this. We really want to get some pictures and get this product going!

Take care,
Maciek

smnc, Mazdo (via PM) and you are in. Still open for 2 more, as long as the colors differ.

SMNC got burgundy thread, Mazdo, onlyonthurs - what are you getting? Post here pls.

dude, what are you talking about? since i've got the boot, you've sent me 2 emails and i've replied to both of them. the first one was asking if it arrived ok, and the second one was asking if the fitment was good. i replied to both of those emails, and in the last email reply i told you that my car is finally arriving in a week, and that i'd send you pics and a writeup about the shift boot then!. in fact, i got the car home 2 days ago, and have began to install the shift boot, however the little plastic pieces that the boot attaches to are broken, and im in the process of getting new platic pieces made so i can do this for you!. maybe its your email that's not receiving.

also, i tore out my old shift boot and sent it to you at my cost, and you didn't send it back, plus i paid $40 for the leather boot you made and you wouldn't give me the 10% discount because you told me it doesn't matter since i'd be getting my money back anyhow!

i am in the process of doing this for you right now, so sorry to sound rude, but like i said, i responded to both your emails, and your email does not go to my spam box anyways. i better still be in on this deal.

Maciek,

I'm going with brown leather, but I could use some advice on the stitching. Matching thread would look nice & clean, but I wonder what black or tan thread would turn out like?

Can you do the e-brake boot as well? I couldn't find them on the order form.

Of course you're in, I was in no way shutting you out, but since it's been the middle of DECEMBER when I sent you the leather piece, I was kind of expecting a more expedited process.

I do want your write up and I do want your pictures. I can give your old boot back to you anytime.

I just wanted more pictures and more people confirming fit and quality (which you said was great in the other post - thank you).

I hope you can get me the stuff I need soon. The deal is still as discussed 3 months ago, no changes on my side.

Maciek

Yeah, I just can't figure out how to edit my post, somehow doesn't seem possible after there are replies to it. Which makes sense logically, but makes it a PITA if you make a mistake.

Actually it's a time limit I think... 30 mins if I'm not mistaken...

Just wanted to make sure. I have a Burgundy (and soon to be) black two-tone interior, so it should mesh nicely with the rest of the car....

So why don't I make it burgundy AND black leather with contrasting thread?

That would look AWESOME, you'll have a two-tone boot and the thread will be reversed, black on burgundy and vice-versa.

Also, we now take an additional $20 PayPal charge for the ebrake boot if you'd like one as well. It's the same as the FC!

Thank you,
Maciek

So....

How much longer?

I'm gettin' all antsy waiting....

The e-brake boot sounds cool too, but my paypal is now empty, so it'll be until the 16 for my next bank transfer to go through... *sigh*

Just installed the e-brake boot, I took the plastic off when I put it on, gives it more of a defined shape imo...

WORD TO THE WISE, use SMALL zip ties, don't use bulky ones or you'll notice it.
