New tires, old stock, 195/60r13 deleted tires. Only 4 of their kind in existence. Got all 4 of them for $150 total, installed and balanced.

They really compliment the retro look of the car. I have a factory 83 brochure showing one in a centerfold with rwl tires so I had to find some!

that wide body pic is killer. I want to strip my American racing wheels and make them pretty again but having to dismount and remount and balance 9 tires and wheels just doesn't seem worth it.. maybe when i kill off more tires i'll do a couple wheels at a time.

I have the Cooper COBRA 205/60R13 RWL on mine but they stopped making them.
So I'm on the lookout in advance. The Coopers will last a few years bar any bad
mojo.

Thanks, I try to take care of it. I'm the second owner since 1983.

I really appreciate people going through the effort to restore the rims, but my opinion is that sanding back and therefore removing the concentric machining lines from the wheels destroys the look. My wheels are in good condition, just need to restore the clearcoat. I'll be going down the paintstrippper route so I can keep the machining marks. This really changes the way light plays on the wheels.
