Radio dismantle??

My rc cables are not sending signal, I don't feel like spending the money on a new radio if i can fix it for free, how do you recommend I do this? Should I take out the hole radio or is there an easier way?
Thanks in advance

if you are wanting to open the radio and repair it you should definatly remove it. often times the external amplifier will go bad and you will get no sound what so ever. unless you know how to repair radios, replacing the radio is the easiest alterantive if your is faulty.
