Does anyone actually Rechrome housings I have a set or 12a housing I want finished up before I start buying parts for my restoration build

 

People talk about it but I have not heard of anyone doing it.

I suspect the largest issue is stripping all of the old chrome off without damaging the aluminum. And then replating the chrome without damaging the aluminum.
