Recessed bumpers on SA

Ive seen some pics, and heard alot about this mod, but I've never seen a how-to on it. I've also seen some sort of bumper caps, where you remove the steel bumpers and bolt on these caps of sorts. Any links to a how-to for the former, or a link to purchase for the latter would be great. Thanks.

I have been looking at doing mine, plan is to take out the shocks, remake the mounts and trim anything needed to make it fit. Going to take out the turn signals and rework the way they are made.

We already removed the molding and smoothed them.

I did this mod on a fc and it wasn't bad. I drained the oil from the bumper shocks and cut them in half right behind the seal. Then saw the skinny side off a couple inches from the mount bracket and weld them up. I could take a picture if you like.
