Rebuilding Nikki... Got a question

So I got a Hygrade rebuild kit and decided I'd fix that nasty carb. I layed out everything on the table and placed all parts in the order I removed them. But as I got going through the assembly, I noticed that I don't have the Richer Air Bleed and jet and the Blind Plug shown in the picture I found online. And I can't recall removing them. I see that they are marked with (MT), which I'm assuming means Manual Transaxle. Mine is manual so I should have them. After searching everywhere around me, I looked into the holes and they don't appear to even be threaded for a jet to go in. So, am I right in assuming that (MT) is manual trans, and are those "missing" parts absolutley important? Also, I'm not sure if it makes a difference but my car is an '83.

I've included the pic that I am refering to.

I got the link from the FAQ, 6th question down.

There's a carb manual at the bottom of the 1st gen section of that webpage. I've used this for all my carb rebuilds and its a lifesaver! I'm re-downloading it right now, but as I recall the carbs are split across the series. So the picture you have is for an S3 (84-85) and looks like mine. The S2 carb probably doesn't have those bits.

I'll confirm once my download finishes and I get a chance to look at the 83 section of the manual.

81-83 doesn't have "Richer air bleed and jet" and the "Blind Plug"
79-80 and 84-85 has 'em.

Thank you, I was going crazy looking for those.

And thanks to vipernicus, that manual will help a lot.

I never do a carb rebuild without it.

I find this site loads the manuals 10 times faster.

Thanks again. This was my first time messing with a carb. I learned about rotaries on a Renesis.
