Question Rebuild Kit?

I was looking on racing beat at a rebuild kit for my 85 rx7, but got confused, is the only difference between the race rebuild and the regular rebuild the carbon apex seals? In that case would the race rebuild cost more?

Also is this a good place to get a rebuild kit or is there other options worth looking into?

Any other recommendations for other things i should replace while doing the rebuild?

My plan as of now is to also street port the engine and get a weber 48 IDA carb and manifold.

Atkins Rotary sells a great rebuild kit, I used their product when rebuilding my S4 engine and the small details like upgraded corner seal springs and solid corner seals included show the amount of effort and research they put in building a quality product.

According to Mazdatrix, "The carbon apex seals are designed for racing only. They seal better above 8k rpm due to their lighter weight. They do NOT last very long (20k miles on the high side), and do NOT seal well at low rpm's (like starting and at idle)."

So, you'll be pulling that engine out again soon if it's a street car.
