Tach wire ?
I know the tach connects to the coil, but does that wire lead straight back to the tach? I have a jumpy tach like many others here and would like to get it fixed. Mine will make a clicking type noise in the dash when it clicks on and off. Will not do it when I have the gas pressed, reving the engine, thats why I think I have a bad connection somewhere.
Any suggestions?

The wire from the tach should run from the coil to the dash directly, the diagrams show a connector A-09 that uses that same wire, but in all likely hood, the tach itself if failing or even more likely, you have a poor ground for the circuit.

Does anyone know if the tach wire connects to anything else under the hood besides the coil? It will only stop/start when engine is under idle. If I coast in neutral, it will do it, but as soon as I put it in gear and under power, it work fine. That is why Im thinking I have a bad connection somewhere. Anyone have any suggestions????
