Can this work with poly bushings or will they become to weak?

Would there be anything wrong with using a pan hard bar with poly bushings? I have some left over various lengths of 4 link bars from a mini truck build. They are pretty hefty.

In fact a lot of panhard bar kits for sale use polyurithane bushings.

There is a guy who runs LeMons who built a panhard bar using the remnants of the stock watts linkage... It's on the forum somewhere. Can't remember the thread though.

Pics of the final project. Took two weekends of me and a friend working solidly. But our final product is perfectly parallel to the axel and sits at exactly 0 degrees when the car is on the ground with the driver in and half a tank of fuel.

It really is a simple device, just lots of measuring putting the car down... measuring... putting the car back up... welding.... etc.

Looks good! Have any measurementson the length of the bar I want a general idea if what I have will work or if I need to order a new bar.

Hmmm. I actually didn't measure the bar. Just cut it to length as it was the last peice fitted.

I bought a 48" tube and cut a bit over a foot off so I would put the bar length at around 32"-34"

Like what I see there wally. With that panhard it'll handle so much better than the stock watts.
