Rear upper shock mounts
Has anyone ever cut the upper shock mounts out of the rear?
I'm thinking about totally removing the "cans" from the hatch area and setting up a double shear mount for eyelet style shocks.
I don't have a test mule anymore so hopefully someone else has done this.

I built an adapter, was just thinking it would sure be cool to be able to remove the assembly though the hatch and have both adjustments in the hatch.

There is someone local to me who has done this with a push-rod setup, effectively putting the coilover setup in the hatch of the car. I'll have to dig to find the picture, I've seen it on Facebook a few times but I've never met the guy. Hoping he gets his car done for next season and starts coming out to some meets.
