This probably isn't just first gen related, but anyway...

I'm looking for the part number for the rear tailshaft seal on the transmission. I was wanting to get it from Rock Auto because I have a couple of other parts I need to get from them as well, but it's not real clear which seal is the correct part to buy.

Has anyone bought that seal from them (or Autozone/Orielly/Advance) and have a part number that they bought handy?

Thanks for that, but I had the Mazda number (through the search button FTW) :-)

I did find it finally though.

It's a TIMKEN 1215N. There was also a Beck-Arnley listed with the same number. I found some obscure website with a cross reference to the mazda P/N.
