the presilencers RB sells are straight thru.

i have not taken apart a RB rear muffler and cannot say. BUT, they are well made and do last a long time.

I used a 2.5" straight thru Magnaflow rear muffler along with the RB DUAL presilencers and RB road race header. NICE power gain with the Magnaflow but had to let off the gas when cops around. Plus it wasn't easy to have a conversation at 75mph. If you're more noise conscious go with a offset inlet/outlet Magnaflow. And yes, that muffler can handle a rotary's heat!

The RB Primaflow muffler is not a straight through design but single inlet chambered to dual outlets and has stainless steel packing. They are quietest mufflers you can get to go with open headers and last a long time...mine is almost 10 years old.
