rear inner wheel well rotted out on my 85 se

any suggestions on how to replace it...it's so bad that my driveshaft hits the bottom of my car over usually insignificant bumps in the road...i've had it welded a couple times but the metal is so thin it just breaks in another spot shortly after any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Unless you have some serious skills with fabrication or know someone who can (and you have a ton of $$$), I would start looking for a shell...

If you want a shell I will have one ---> no suspension, no front end, no rear bumper, no lights you get the doors and glass. Its starting to show rust. You just have to pick your poison.

$300

These pics have the parts not included...engine bay was painted...pics of engine bay were taken after it was washed...

if the patch work you have been doing isn't cutting the mustard, then don't chance hurting yourself or others by driving that car on the streets and highways... find you a decent donor, cut it out and weld it up... or find you a shell, remove and replace all of your goodies... good luck!!! i have an se from up north that the same thing has to be done... i am going to cut this one and replace the parts that need it... se's are to hard to come by down here...

the pieces i've had welded in are holding beautifully but it doesn't look the greatest..lol..so this winter i'm having it all cut out and having the whole inner wheel well replaced the rx7 addict on ebay said he's got a perfect donor car and said it won't cost no more than 400 total for both sides...so hopefully after some cutting some sandblasting some welding and undercoating it'll look and perform like brand new...
