use one from an se if you can find one. pretty much a bolt in.
as far as price goes i for example pretty much give away drum brake open rear ends, but ask a premium for lsd/disc, gslse in particular because of the 4.08 gears.

keep in mind if you just bolt up an -se rear you will have 4x114.3 bolt pattern. you need gsl axles to keep 4x110.

Pumpkin ---> $35 for open diff which will solve most grinding noises or cyclical vibrations. Since it's an '83, it's all about when you're car was made as to which yoke you'll need. My last excursion into this stuff gave me an 83 with the large yoke and then an 84 with the small one...crazy and frustrating when it's supposed to "just bolt in"....if you go for the entire rear, that's generally a $75 part at the old junkyard...you and a buddy will be able to haul it out by hand....

I sale wheel to wheel for $100 to $150 on the open Drum rears.

$150 to $200 for Disk.

When I have them, I am currently all out.
