Yes according to the parts manual .
The 80 used this model drum , the 79 used a drum that is NLA but had the same backing plate. Let me post a screen shot for you guys so you don't think im BS.

 

Even tho manually adjusting the drums is a pain, they really do stop better than the rear discs plus there's the parking brake being better as well.

If you need help finding Drum hardware kit's I have it in a post, I also have the source for the 79 master cylinder rebuild kit for half off a rebuilt cylinder kit from tokiko, takes 5 mins to rebuild, I don't want to post it because some one may buy the entire stash , and i wan;t us top have this available to us , Atkins and maztatrix sell a 80$ kit, it's a huge rip off. , just PM me.
