Rear brakes conversion or swap

I have a 1981 rx7 that I have started working on and trying to find what is the best option for the rear end I'm not finding much in terms of conversions and some people have said to swap the rear end. With swapping the rear end is there and after market options or should I try to find another rx7 that had a disc rear end? I would appreciate any advice anyone could give me thanks

since the GSL came with rear discs and limited slip, its just been easier to swap the whole assembly over. its very straightforward, less than 20 bolts and a brake bleed. finding one might be the tricky part

What j9fd3s said, it is the easiest, cost effective and most practical thing to do.
