Call me crazy, but I think that image has been Photoshopped.. those vents and such just look like they're at the wrong angles. Plus, what's up with the windows? Looks like it's a computer image. Granted, I like that front end...

No I don't think that picture has been photoshopped cause heres the same body kit from either the tokyo auto show. If anyone has any info on this kit I would also like to know about it. Looks great!

That hood looks like the makers took one of those air conditioning intakes they use on the sides of buildings and welded it to the hood?! Kinda strange if ya ask me, but whatever turns your eccentric shaft ...

the hood is the only part i dont like. yuck, those vents belong on sweet old hot rods, not rx-7's. IMO they just dont go with the look of the car

I'm pretty sure that the hood vents are functional. Hoods like those are popular in Japan, I think.

gross lookin hood scoops, might as well make up a shogun style body kit and throw on clear tail lights, altogether would add at least 30hp right?

I think I'll be cutting into my spare hood this winter, for $136 it might be worth it. if it helps get that hot radiator air out it can't hurt performance. plus I'm not about being normal, and I don't consider it rice, since it would be functional

yeah but thats 136 just for the scoop, then you add in adhesives, filler to make it look right most likely, and then some paint and youre talkin even more money, just for some pretty holes in your hood that might not even cool off the engine too much. id rather go for a tII lookin scoop and put it on a fiberglass hood from japco. i can see how it would look pretty cool though. just a matter of opinion i guess

I got a place who does "GREAT" work for cheap. so it's not going to cost much
I thought of the T2 scoop, seen it on a few first gens, looks great.
but I want something to let heat out, not force more air in.
the Japco hood will need hood pins and i'm not sure if I'm ready for that yet.
of course we never know what will happen till we try something, and I love to try things
