I just put it in too, and it also sits high.... I think that it might take the springs awhile to settle then it would be lower

You are probably seeing the car sitting higher now, than it did before. This is not because the new springs make it sit higher than stock, but because your old springs were sagging.
20+ year old springs will have lost some of their tensile strength, and make the car sit lower than it did when it was new. The new springs will actually raise it back up from where it was, but it is still lower than it was when new.

I have my rear with tokico blues and the front with koni red... The front looks a lot lower than the back... It feels pretty stiff and i like how it feels but going through bumps is a little annoying(scraped the bottom twice today on high speed pumps)

those rubber stoppers in the rear of the suspension ( the ones that prevent the car from bottoming out ) were all dry rotted and when i popped the old springs off the bottoms of them broke off. i hope my springs are stiff enough to not bottom out. i should probably get replacments. i gotta get back in there anyways because the sway bar bushings are shot as well. anybody have this problem with those pieces? who removed there sway bar i heard i might be better not having it on at all. less snap oversteer. is this true?

what we used to do to check socks was slam the breaks on and off and it would bounce like a mexicans car cause the shocks were fucked but i spouse its different cause this was on deisel hiluxs our cars maybe to light
was fun tho crank the sounds bounce around the look on peoples faces made it worth while
(whats that idiot doing)

The shocks make no difference to the ride height, its the spring that determines the ride height of your car.

I had different shocks because i cant afford the koni rear, which are over $100 each... I got my koni fronts for $100 for a pair and $70 for the tokico rear

Get those bump stops replaced as soon as you can. Without them, you stand a chance of blowing the shocks. Trim 3/4" off of the bottom ends before you install them. This will give you a little more travel and won't be hitting them as often. Even with the trim, I still hit mine occasionally.

I can't believe it took so long for someone to say that.
