I have the hardcore full streetport system, and it ******* rules. It's simple to put on... The biggest pain in the *** is getting the old one off. My advice: Soak all the mounting brakets in PB blaster, go to lunch, come back in an hour, unbolt the exhaust manifold from the engine, unbolt the muffler from the rest of the exhaust, and take it off in two pieces.

Indestructable, great fit, quiet and excellent power for a mild or moderate streetcar.I loved mine with the old N/A engines and I still run the RB SP muffler on my TII setup.

Also......expensive,kinda heavy and not smog legal....but youll have to weigh the pros and cons.

ok so i hear all this street port and talk about porting what does that mean will the exhaust still work for a stock engine im looking at the 690.00$ system just to be more specific and did you guys have to do anything with the rest of the engine to get it all to work?

The streetport system will provide more HP compared to the standard system....if you port the engine later on.It will work fine with a stock port engine, and the SP muffler is a tad louder than the regular RB muffler(its still very quiet)

Since its not designed to be smog legal, youll need to remove the airpump and ACV valve on the side of the intake.Without the airpump's belt to help turn the fan/waterpump,youll need to install a yoo-hoo belt or a two belt alternator pulley....or remove the stock fan and run an electric fan.
There will also be a couple vacuum lines to cap off and a few wires to unplug.None of this is detrimental to the engine's operation, but youll never, ever be able to smog the car and the exhaust will take on a foul smell.Youll also need a couple block-off plates to cover the hole where the ACV and air tube attached to the intake manifold. They are cheap and easy to install, you can even make your own from some light plate steel or aluminum.

The RB 'Street Port' system will definately work on a stock motor, no problems there. It's just built as a long primary setup, which means that the header doesn't collect until just before the axle, whereas the short primary header that I have from RB collects underneath the passenger's seat. The street port setup will allow for more power at higher RPMs but I do believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that it will make less low RPM power.

At any rate the sound from the RB is really quite nice and eliminates alot of the harshness that is present in the rotary exhaust note. The note from my setup, which ultizes a Magnaflow muffler, is similar but isn't as bassy. It's also a bit louder.

My current set-up is on a stock motor. The reason I bought the SP system was simple: Eventually, I'll go with a streetport, and don't want to think to myself, "Man, I wish I had the full SP exhaust." Just because you have an all stock motor now doesn't mean you always will. Plan for the future. The other nice thing about the RB system is that the header is interchangable, which means if you swap your stock ported 12A out for a streetported 13B, all you have to do is change the header, not the entire exhaust.

In short, when it comes to modding your car, pay the extra money and get the top of the line system.
