Thats funny. Yesterday afternoon, we picked up a red 79 also with straight body/clean interior but blown motor for $100.

 

nice to see another 4 speed car!!! it does appear to be an "S" model, though it looks great! are you going to get the correct wheels for it? possibly a 5 speed conversion? where did you pick it up?

 

i have 83le wheels for now, until i can save up for some real meshies, or poss ultralight pana's. still trying to figure out the 5 speed part, want to be able to use my mazdatrix shifter. car came from columbia, MO.

 

the shift **** indicates its only a 4 speed. early base models came with the 4 speed standard and the 5 speed was an option. you can swap in another trans from an SA thats a 5 speed if you'd like. its not a problem. its a nice car though! really nice!
