rats nest problems!!!

i just removed the nest tonight and it is running alot faster and will only run on choke and the idel screw has not made it idel down or up is this a big vac. leak? or is it somthing else i would post pics but i have no camera sry.
its a 85 gsl with stock carb and straight threw set up exhaust

yup u have a leak, spray some starter fluid where u think the problem area is and if the rpms jump u have found the leak.

^^^ careful though, its flammable...

Ya go over all of your vacuum lines, even the ones that are hidden, it is VERY VERY easy to over look some possible leaks...

ok i just did the car cleaner and i could not get it to where i wanted it to becuase the fan was blowing way to hard and when i taking it off choke then it dies it wont idel! i played with the timeing and nothing sooo now what? it only runs on choke!!

Check all your vac llines, thats all it can be. There aren't that many just check every one carefuly. And if you still can't find it check your block off plates. I'd disconnect the fan bolts and remove it. Then spray strater fluid around yout block off plates.
