just a few questions....help me out

Can "DLIDFIS" make me rev my engine to 8000rpm without shooting apex seals out the exhaust?? or how can i mod the engine so it can rev 8000rpm with no engine damage??

Will ignition timing mess up my motor if i have the stock nikki carb??

Sorry for the dumb questions but i really want to know.......

I have a race against a sentra SE-R and wouldn't like to lose it..
I have racingbeat 4.44 ring & pinion gears just wondering if i have a chance of taking this guy on...

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

The V-Spec IS pretty quick. The ignition upgrade will help make sure you are burning all your fuel up top.

It's going to be a close race, If you win, it will be because of your launch.
13"inch rims and 4.44 gears should make for a hell of a holeshot.

Hopefully, you'll have enough power to keep a lead. If you had an aftermarket carb, I would feel better for you.

ON A DIFFERENT NOTE:

Plesase post pics of your rare widebody. I love phat 1st gens.!

I was running 40mm solex carbs before but tunning the thing was very new to me at the time...I think that it was to small cause it fowled my spark plugs, jetting was all wrong and made the car run poorly(not gas friendly at all)....runs nice the way it is now just seeking more power

Thanks.
I got the wide body on ebay about 3 years ago, very rare find, but it was in the worst condition imaginable, peices missing & chips/cracks everywhere, i needed to mold the front airdam to the fenders so that i would know where to add fiberglass and bondo.

I am not sure is the DLIDFIS or 2GCDFIS would stop you from shooting an apex seal but they are both great upgrades from the stock ignition set up. If you are using aftermarket ignition coils use the DLIDFIS but if you're just planning on running 3 stock coils I would say give the 2GCDFIS a chance. Anyway good luck with the race!!! If you can get it on tape so we can all see.

Awesome looking car, dunno about the race against the SE-R, your 4.444 gears will help out a ton from the line as long as you get some awesome traction. Good job with the body kit, widebody kits are awesome!

Hey, here is a picture of what my spoiler looks like (the car is a work in progress, thats why there is no interior and windows in the picture). It was all molded together by the previous owner, I just bought it as a painted rolling widebody chassis. I believe it is a different spoiler than the mazdatrix one, but a spoiler like mine is available through VB.

IMO Save your money and put a 35-50 shot of nitrious on it.... Dollar for dollar you can't beat the gains! Then if you start to get pulled on, just turn on the spray, smile and wave buh-bye! OR put a buick motor in it and you won't have to worrie about much on the street beating you ever again.
