Rare finds still out there - my new to me 83 GS
Rare finds still out there - my new to me 83 GS
Back from the grave......... and still out of touch with reality....... Yes I am still alive
I figured that with the Turbo'ing of my 7 that I'd need a "spare" 7 to run around in so as to not suffer the painfull withdraw symptoms. And after many failed attempts to find just the right 7 this one falls into my lap

83 GS - 73K all mint, all original
no winters, nice shiny factory paint, mint interior, 99.9% rust free, even working A/C
only negative is its an Auto, but thats a good thing for me, Means I can just drive it instead of modifing it. I plan to just drive it as a wonderful fun daily driver.
Don't worry, not going to drive in blizzards, got the 626 Turbo for that
and the best part, picked up this gem for only $1500
so never give up hope, there are a few of these still hiding in peoples garages!

Looks like it idles a little high, factory specs say 750 RPMs
.
Nice looking car man, sure is sweet. I like the new sig too
. Oh yeah, and since its an auto, and low miles, be sure to take it out and blow some of that carbon outta there. It was probably babied a lot. I had one with 80K (my 83 GSL) that the engine siezed in cause it was WAY too carbon-ish
. Anyway, just have fun with it
.

EDIT: For got to say welcome back. I was just getting used to coming here right about when you kinda dropped off...Nice to see you back again.
