ran into a snag

well the engine i took apart that had been in my back seat for about a year turns out while i was cleaning everything up that the housings are bad.. they have about a 2-3" line about 1 cm wide along the edge that is chipped off.. so i figure that would be a big problem.. so i am not sure what to do now.. i hear you cant get them re-surfaced.. i dont know what my options are besides trashing that project and finding another route.. let me know what you think..

its not effecting the car at this point because i still have the 12a in it and it still runs.. i was building the 13b into a half bridge port.. that was my goal.. but if i cant do anything about my housings i will either find another 13b to port.. turn the 12a into a turbo 12a... after rebuilding it ... or find a turbo II from a second gen or somthing.. oh well let me know what you think.

Hard one to answer, you currently cannot get the housings replated, although there's talk that the technology is coming. As for the engine, its up to you, but if you go turbo PM me and maybe we'll do this together on 2 cars.
