@jdmminot Curious on your thoughts so far, would love a raw/honest opinion so far. Have you just done regular street driving/spirited/hooning/racing with it? I think understanding how it performs under different driving applications would be worthwhile.
For me, Im not trying to full blown race my 7, but man, a 'less play' not so squirrely feeling, steering upgrade on a budget would be nice on those spirited twisty roads.
MTheory still looks like the best option/performer with a great track record hands down, don't get me wrong.

I hit order on the T3 kit as soon as I saw it launch. For the price I paid, any improvement over my current steering situation would be worth it. I disagree on the mounting points being fragile. The heavy-wall tubing cradle is connected to the rear engine subframe bolts and through the frame at the steering box and idler arm locations as stated above. There was absolutely no slop in the assembly. Total install time was ~4 hours, but this included me removing a manual steering assembly and reinstalling my power steering column. My preferred alignment shop can’t get me in until next week so I quickly set the toe and took it for a spin. Night-and-day difference, steering with two fingers on the wheel and absolutely zero play. I have attached some pictures- forgive the filth, it was a rough winter under the cover.
yes. Installed it in my manual steering 82, since it had 1/2 turn of play in the factory box. The way the kit comes, bump steer was ridiculous, i corrected it by fabricating a bump steer drop. The u-joints, no mater where i place them causes a slight rotational “bind” ive also tried adjusting the column in and out and up and down to no change. Im hoping its just the components and rack needing to break in. This was a mock up shot for testing to see how much drop was required.
