Here are photos they've posted that I cropped.
I'm curious about their method for connecting the steering shaft where the flanged end goes.

Yeah that lol. The paint has seen better days and that fender is beat to hell. Such is the life as a development car I guess

Doesn't look beat up to me. A little PDR and paint correction and that fender would look amazing.

Assuming that some bell-end hasn't fucked it all up by setting parts on it.

Its weird as Ive been collecting photos of a re speed kit equipped car, Taking measurements etc to re engineer my own kit on my car. So defiantly going to be following this and how it all turns out. And at what price it will be offered at.

Recreating the RE-Speed kit is a little tricky, it has the steering rack ahead of the wheel centerline so the tension rods had to be replaced with custom control arms and brackets from behind.

Putting the rack where the stock center link is ideal but then the tricky part is making the angle from the steering column to the rack.

The same people who with a straight face will sell useless suspension parts for our Rx7s like
a panhard bar with a bend mounted on different planes or full solid heim joint rear links. Mazdacomp setup for the Daytona rx7s has you reinforce the lower mount and don't recommend solid uppers for the obvious reasons.
They will sell you a kit to put heim joint uppers on a single shear bolt, sounds safe enough.🙃

The real downfall of the Respeed kit was changing to front steer causing the knuckle Ackerman issues, also the foxbody rack center width isn't well suited for our chassis.

My thoughts on the hiem joints as well and double the issue on rear links as well. Just cause its all shiny doesn't mean its well done.

MTheory… given how well your rack and pinion works, I think you should have a go at creating an outboard mounted upper trailing arm? Would be as popular as the rack and pinion, solving an equally vexing FB issue, and probably affordable. Just spent a few days down that particular rabbit hole of research. Techno have added a weld-on reinforcement to their outer mount kit, which unfortunately negates the bolt on benefits, but probably deciding against as don’t want Heim (noise/wear) and concerned about tire clearance with 15x8 25ET wheels. Message in with Techno on the latter, waiting on answer.

How's your steering linkage feel?
Should be silky smooth, I spent a lot time making sure the steering ujoints are well within their working limits and without the need to use a support for a cleaner look with my kit.

Feels great going on 2 years with your kit. I've done a few track days and it has worked perfectly.
I showed it off at an RX gathering last year, at least one of them should have reached out to you (among many I'm sure).

I'm another "satisfied" owner of the MTheoryInc's rack and pinion kit the past two years, and have "no" complaints!

That's awesome! I love to hear it's preforming as intended. The first gen is about as raw driving experience one can get compared to the modern world. Would you share your alignment specs & wheel/tire size?
Yes a couple of people have been in touch mentioning your car, thank you. I truly love building these steering kits for our Rx7s.

Possibly the cleanest, maintained, tastefully modified GSL-SE I've ever seen that you can actually drive and is driven by one the coolest dudes in Indy. Weather conditions permitting of course. Thank you for inviting me into your home and going hot wheels hunting with me. 😁

Installed MTheory's R&P several months ago and have accumulated about 800 miles all street, commuting to work, cars and coffee, canyons etc. Very happy with fit and performance. The rack cross member slid perfectly between the frame rails. Perfect press-fit with minimum negative clearance. I took this opportunity to extend the steering wheel/shaft a little closer to the driver. At 6'2" it's more comfort now.

The improved steering really draws to attention to how lacking my stock size 13" wheels and tires have become.

The pleasure was all mine Scott (you certainly bailed me out that's for sure), and I can't remember when I had so much fun working on my car with another person who loves RX7's as much as I do. It was indeed a great day for sure!

Sure, I'm running Enkei Compe 16x7 wheels with Continental ExtremeContract Sports in 205/45/16.
The front has been converted to a big brake kit from now-defunct ACBron which widened the track a little, rear was swapped with the GSL-SE axle.
