Ok this 45DCOE isnt cutting it on my motor. Does anyone else customize Webers like Mazdaracing.com does?. I ordered a 50DCO/ss over two weeks ago and still havent heard from them!.

Mazda racing is notoriously slow and has bad customer service. THe problem is they are the only people that offer a weber kit bigger than a 45 dcoe.

**** them in the ***! I hate them and wish they would go out of business. You could buy a carb like that from a VW place probably.

For modifying the carb call Mandeville Autotech in South Carolina. Roger Mandeville is the owner, he raced for Mazda back in the days (77'-91'). He has probably the most knowledge of building any rotary powered race car but he is not cheap! I had him balance and lighten my rotor and shaft. He will not give you any fake #s on hp. Phone #864-582-0038, his wife Nancy will answer. Dont call just to ask questions, this guy is always busy building race cars and doesnt have time to just chat. I went and visited his shop.....this place is a rx lovers dream!!!!!!

Also, www.mazdamotorsports.com has a 50mm weber they offer(copy of a weber).

You can get 50DCO's from other sources. I know Fast Freddy's sells them, as do practically any other Weber retailer.

Mazdaracing doesn't actually tune the carbs for you! They just ship them to you and you get to do all the head scratching. So, there's no real point in buying from them.

You can get a 50 DCO/SP from http://europeanmotorworks.com/
http://www.racetep.com/

If someone can post their complete jetting and choke size for a 45 or 48 dcoe, what type of porting and exhaust you have, and what choke size they want to use with the 50, I can *estimate* the jetting required for the 50. You'll have to fine tune after that.

Yeah, their 'kit' (I use that term loosely) consists of a carb, crappy *** foam filters, and poorly casted manifold. No extra jets, no throttle linkage (they told me one wasn't neccessary ), no hardware, no gasket; not to mention it will never get to you in the time frame promised.
