the racing store big brake kit?

well, I have noticed a lot of big brake threads right now and I found this site http://www.theracingstore.com/brakes...ad_bkit12.html
from the "MazdaRepu.com" site. I searched but didnt find anything on the kit. If you have the kit could you please post some info on how its doing?

thanks, kevin

I think I'd want to know what brand of rotor and caliper were used. Also, I don't find it encouraging that the promotional picture displays a cross-drilled rotor.

Frankly, you can get very cheap brakes that look very impressive for not a lot of money. I think you should ask them exactly what componentry is involved, and then google the hell out of them.

I have the rear disc conversion for my '68 Firebird from them...it's not installed yet because I'm trying to decide between Strange or Moser axles and get a Torsen diff for the ten bolt rear-end so I can do the whole back drivetrain and brakes in one shot...read--->$$$... It's great stuff. Racers and the Pro-Touring crowd would have bad-mouthed them out of business by now if their products didn't work.

yeah kevin i'd like to hear from customers too. i'm the one trying to get a repu big brake kit together on mazdarepu.com but there's not enough paying buyers ready to go in on the first run. i'm gonna be real busy next 8 weeks, may not have time to pursue repu brakes until afterwards anyways. brad.
