what do you mean blow through manifold. any intake manifold works as long as it ataches to the carb and engine. You might be thinking of a carb hat or a turbo exhaust manifold. you need to be more exact in your request. www.rotaryshack.com

LMAO, thats a good one.

Anyway, you can use a manifold from an S4 or S5 13BT and just modify it a little to work. I've heard they work just fine and it would probably be much cheaper as you can find those manifolds for under $50 usually.

How bout those guys on ebay who sell tube mannifolds for TIIs?

Couldnt one of those be used on a 12a, instead of the stock type cast mannifold?

I'll bet they spool up better and you can have a better choice of tubos?

I've been wondering bout thtat.

ebay tubular, or most tubulars in general aren't for daily use and would crack soon. If you want choice of turbos, then i suppose you may be serious enough to look into that. But it doesn't sound like you're anywhere near that far enough along. Why don't u try a cast one, put something simple together, and see if that's the route you really want and go from there?

A turbo 12A will put out about 220hp if tuned properly on modest boost with stock S5 turbo parts. This is plenty of power to send the stock tires searching for grip in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears. After this amount of power, you won't want to run anything with any rear grip because you'll rip either your tranny or rear end to shreads. Just ask directfreak. I asked him about the strength of the parts on an FB, and he said the first time he used drag radials with 300hp it blew up the rear end.
