Racing Beat, Nordskog, Glass, Black Magic, Aluminum dash

I got my racing beat exhaust in the other day, looks sweet! This weekend me and a friend are popin it in, it's gunna be great! I also am getting an electronic speedo because the one in my car was jumpy at a certain speed so I bought another gauge cluster only to find that one was a bit worse, no worrys though! I found a nice looking one that goes up to 300, has 1/4 mile time recall, easy push button calibration with no pace car needed, and a million mile odometer + trip with digital tick marks that light up in 5 mpg incriments that make it look somewhat analog it's going to be sweet! PLUS I am getting the FLX-150 fan this summer and replacin that old clutcher. PLUS I am getting my new leather shift boots soon and getting the middle console part custom made from brushed aluminum! Oh and there is a local custom glass place here and I'm going to see if they can make me a glass part for a sunroof and get a quote on it, then see how much it'd be to get it tinted and to make custom attaching hardware so that it can just drop in, they do custom lettering too so I could make it say something engraved in the glass, I wanna get that it'd be sweet too Sorry for the ranting! How much difference will I notice off hand with the racing beat stuff? I heard allot about it, but is it a pretty noticable difference? (someone who has experienced it?)

On a stock car. If your car has no porting then you will notice a little more power. But man with all that money i would have went for a ported motor then you could have felt a large power increase. Personally where i live and the local muffler shop i ahev the meanest set of straight pipes and i love them. But that is true free flowing exhaust.

Actually this is all costing allot less than you think I'm a poor highschool student and have no money. I would love to get a mild- street port but alas I have no where close to where I live that would do that so i'd have to ship it off.

Hmm Im not great at doing too much myself im the kinda person who screws up everything he touches, I like power but I dunno, most likely when my motor dies, i'll get it ported when I get a rebuild, how's that sound? Course, my motor only has about 12k on it so it may be awhile but no biggy.

12K! where did you find that. Pretty rare man. When I got my racing beat headers I felt a huge difference. You will feel it pull a lot higher into the rpm range. My motor would quit at 6500 but now it pulsl all the way to 8000. You have made a good investment.

I've got the street port system on my non-ported engine (soon to be ported!) and I love it. Not only does it look good and sound good (no rice beater!) I can feel a pretty significant difference. I feel more torque (although it's supposed to lower low-end torque...) and I can feel high end power until about 6500 RPM because I'm currently fuel starved--I need a new fuel pump

I'm a high schooler as well--I just got some car friends to come help me. Having only simple tools, it took me about a day and a half to put on...

Have fun

You'd actually feel more power with the exhaust on a non ported engine than you would with a ported engine and stock exhaust, so that was bad advice...

Yea. If you port an engine, you absolutely need a new exhaust. A new intake is also suggested...

As I said, the engine has 12k, the car has 76k, the previous guy stored it for about 5 years w/o starting it. he got a new motor and sold it a few years later, to me
