racing beat motor mounts
So i recieved 2 racing beat motor mounts today. when i compared them to the original gslse mounts my left SE mount is thicker but both RB ones are the same thickness. I check there site and it says you have to order them in a pair same part number. Is this OK???

Probably because the GSL-SE engine is heavier on one side due to AC/PS etc. Or maybe because it was torquier than the 12A and Mazda figured they'd compensate for it with a thicker mount on one side. I wouldn't worry about it unless the engine sits noticeably tilted.
I installed some RB competition mounts on the '83 and it sits level as far as I can tell.

So after installin the motor and tightening the nuts down i noticied.
1. with both mounts being the same height that the motor crossmember would not sit flush on the RB mounts with the mounts duplicating stock orientation?
2. Crossmember would only sit remotly as flush to mount as possible with both mounts 180'd around(mount notch up)?
3. Once engine was in and tight, left side which is the side stock is considerably thicker made the engine sit cockeyed to the left side and oil pan close to the frames crossmember?
I did a bit of searching and read that some have it like this and others have modified to make the oil pan not so close. Who has some pics or advice again on this topic for me would be great.
