still not sure if i want to go all out with the coil overs and camber plates and everything that might be a little much for this car lol
ray you have the perfect fitment that i want, i think i just have a little more gap because my diameter is a little larger than yours?
p.s i like the ride looks familiar lol beige on brown....love it man! these things are pure sex on wheels!
im still liking the RB spring idea, throw them up on my blues i just ordered and see how it looks, if its too tall i think one coil cut out would be ok? wouldnt it, i mean they are proformance springs anyways

RB springs actually raised my car up about 1/2" when I installed them. But with 17s on there, you might be happy with the fit. The only problem is, since they are not adjustable, what do you do if they don't fit they way you want them to? Every time you look at your car you will be wishing you could do it over again.
Perfect example; my wife is remodelling one of the bathrooms, and she was trying to decide what bath tub to get. She was looking at a fairly nice, but plain tub, and I pointed out that a nice jacuzzi tub was only $150.00 more. She didn't want to spend the extra money until I asked her to picture relaxing in her new tub, always wishing that she had spent a little bit more for the better one every time that she got into it. That made up her mind for her.
Anyway, of course the choice is yours, but having already gone throught the process of having to redo everything because I wasn't happy, I hate to see somebody else go through that without at least giving them a heads up.

Well, I have no dog in this fight so to speak. My suspension was on the car and setup when I bought it. (which is why I bought it) Since the OP was asking about my exact setup, just adding my 2cents. I am perfectly happy with the performance and ride of my setup, if anything, I'd use slightly softer springs up front. As to suspension springs being non-adjustable, I beg to differ there. I have used spring rubbers, cut springs, and even done some modified coil binding. All of which will change the height, stiffnes, etc. of most any spring setup. (except coil overs) Now I'll give you that it would have been easier to have coil overs at the time, but not something I kicked myself over. One other thing with the setup your describing is it is often difficult to find someone that can actually reliably setup a camber/caster type system well. It's more than I want to do again. But for the record, in some cases the setup you describe IS the smart way to go. I also am impressed with re-speeds setup, it just isn't for me in the car I'm presently driving.

Lol, can't say we didn't tell you that the fitment was going to be pretty bad with that setup dude. The only way you are going to get that thing low enough to pull off anything but a donk look is with coilovers. Sorry to be blunt about it but no springs are going to close that massive gap.
I'm running the Eibach springs myself, which are the lowest and stiffest springs around. They are discontinued but pop up in the classifieds now and then. They tuck the tire nicely and are decently stiff, but even with these I still wish I had coilovers.

I have KYB GR2s and RB springs. I noticed a huge difference over factory, but I wish it was a little stiffer and another 1-1/2 inches lower. It lowered mine at least half an inch over my 32 year old worn out springs/ struts. Then I got my 205-50-15 tires on my new (new back then...) wheels and it made an even bigger difference

I'm not sure what you are seeing, but there is no misunderstanding on my end. I'm aware that those pics are on stock springs, and I just said there is no way any lowering springs are going to remove that much wheel gap.
Just kind of restating what Kentesu said, when you are on a tight budget it makes more sense to do it right the first time.

Sorry, I was referring to his original thread when he picked up those wheels. That setup is 2" taller than the typical aftermarket tire size (205/50/15), which will cause some fitment issues.
Off-topics aside one thing that I just thought of is that when lowering you are going to need to be more aware of clearances. Although a 205 can usually fit on a lowered FB with little issue the extra diameter of those may bring them closer to rubbing.
