THe air control valve and check valve are all parts of the emmisions gear associated with the air pump and exhaust converters ... the header removes the exhaust converter and so the air pump is no longer needed and neither are the valves so they are removed and blanked off with the plates you listed

hmmm....thanks, i need to think about this...my air pump is off rite now, but i was going to put it back on, cause i have one more emissions check left...im not sure what i should do. does the header replace all the cats? i think i should leave at least one, and put a resinator on too. if i left one cat would i still use the air pump and valves?

Yes, if you left the main cat in there you would need the Air pump and ACV still

Why would there be a problem with using the main cat in conjunction with the header, as long as it was a 2 into 1 design?
