Well,,, I BOUGHT IT !!! GSL-SE
I am now the proud owner of a 1984 GSL-SE .
Cost me $ 100.00 dollors US. So now i have two
silver 1st gen rx7's . a 1982 GS, and the SE !!
can i stand myself ?? Now i need to get it home, hopefully today, if not then tomorrow. I feel pretty sure
it's not as bad as it was made out to be. Wouldn't that be the **** if i got it running,,,good . before it was parked, it had just got new tires and struts/shocks .
Still hasn't sunk in, yet . I've got an SE now.
Manntis !! you missed a good one bro. Mel !!! a 1990 13b is sounding pretty good to me now. Stop by,,soon.
oh , thats right, your girl is in town.. well if you get some free time then.or give me a call.

Oh... now you've done it. Be prepared to fiddle with rat's nests, TPS, Throttle Bodies, and injectors trying to get it to idle at 800rpm like the factory manual says.
When it starts doing the RRRrrrrrummm,.... RRRrrrrruummmmm,.... RRRrrrruuummmm.... RRRrrrrummm while you're sitting at a light, don't say we didn't warn you.
SE's are a challenge. My 80 was never this fast or fun to drive, but the SE requires some technical skill to work on it and keep it running like it was designed.

The bad news is that there a a dozen spots to trouble shoot in solving the idle problems associated with SE's.
The good news is that they are well documented and can be fixed with a little patience and know how
