Quick help needed regarding carb rebuild.
Alright so i've cleaned the things and now i'm in the process of changing all the washers, gaskets, and so on, well right now i'm trying to change the fuel jets (i think thats what they're called, cylendrical shaped in the top section of the carb, and where the floats attach. Thos god damn things just won't come off!. THey have a grooce on the top so at first i tried doing it with a flat head screwdriver, and no luck, then i looked at them a bit more nad i was like, of well my don't i stick a piece of metal in where the goes in, and tap it with a hammer, every piece of metal that i stuck in there just bent and the sucker didn't move a hair. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

The round things that are brass-looking, in which the little needle like thing goes into? If so, thats the needle and seat. Yes, they should unscrew with a screwdriver.

They can be a bugger to remove sometimes. I have used a gasket scraper to unscrew them a few times, since few screwdrivers can actually reach both sides at once.
Look thru the rebuild kit, and insure these items are included, and that they do indeed thread in. If all of the above is true, then perhaps using vise grips on the sides will loosen them. I have seen a few people reuse the old ones, due to not being able to get them out, however, there can be some trash blocking the flow thru the passage beyond the seat.
