Quick fluid question............
Ok after i dropped my driveshaft i had to lower the car real quick ....well when i lowered it i saw that liquid was coming out of the transmission hole that the driveshaft goes into.....i'm pretty sure its transmission fluid....but if its not what is it?........sorry for the noob question i just wanna make sure to (with the right fluid) replenish what small amount that came out of it......

It is gear oil that the transmission uses (for manual transmission cars). It is normal for oil to leak out like that when you pull the driveshaft. Many people will drain the oil before pulling. You may want to go ahead and change the transmission oil as it is often neglected. Any good 80/90 wt gear oil will do, but many people like to run Redline MT-90 (bit expensive, though). You will need a little over 2 quarts. The drain plug is on the bottom and the fill is on the drivers side of the transmission. You will need either a pump from a local automotive store to fill, or some like to use a hose and funnel and fill it from above.
