quick dimension help

I need the dimensions of an aftermarket cd player surround. I am making a cluster for gaudges and will need the dimensions to fab it...

you mean the install kit? i could help with that but mine has got a little compartment under the cd player. The compartment is there in case i want to get an EQ

call any stereo shop and ask them what the exact dimensions of Din 1 are. (there is one standard- Din 1, Din 2... Din 1.5 are kinda rare)

that should help.

a single din opening is 2" tall by 7" wide 1.5 din is 3"tall by 7" wide double din is 4"tall by 7" wide and you can figure in about 1/8" trim ring if used

Great so my measurements were correct....I should need a 2 3/4 pannel to fill the gap...thanks everyone...
