Quick before she DIES

Can soemone please help me. I bought my 84 GSL-SE awhile back because i needed a car bad. Its ran decent for awhile, but the frame is slowly deteriorating. The underneath of the car where u would normaly place a jack or jackstand is rusting, and my hatch area is begining to rust. I was told that sanding it down and putting on spray on bed liner would work wonders nad basically stop the rusting, but i was wondering if any of you have any reccomendations on how i can save my RX-7 before the frame goes to ****. Im hoping to stop it before it gets past the point of no return

i think sanding and then the bedliner would work pretty well. just do something soon before it gets worse ! i am going to be painting the underside of the car and wheel wells with the bedliner type stuff to prevent rust and other damage.

haha you should see the frame on the race car. the left front has been bent... straightened... bent and cracked... straightened and welded. and now its kinked. And the point on the RF where the jack stand goes is completely rusted and actually broken from the weight of the car... BUT, we still put the stand there and the car aligns SOMEHOW. lol its pretty funny

Move out of the frozen salt road encrusted north and to the beach. Where you can sit in the sand, drink cold beer, and watch your car rust away in semi tropical bliss. Just kidding
Try grinding as much of the rust off as you can then go over the area with Ospho. Bed liner will only hide the rust. It will still rust away under the bed liner. Good luck

there are treatments sprays that you can go to a parts store and buy. it's like spray paint almost and cheap. it'll go on one color and chemicaly changes the rust to stop it. it'll turn black when it's done and it stays on. this is a good quick fix and will work for a while but you'll need to do something more preminate later. i'll see if i can't figure out what it's called for ya.
