Hey guys,

I think I have decided to sell my extra set of 83 LE wheels,and I have a few questions.What do you guys think these are worth.I know they are somewhat rare,and are nice because they have the 4x110 bolt pattern,in a 14" size,and look pretty nice.I have two sets,and these are the worst set I own.The other set is on my 79 GS,and I like them,but I could use the money right now.I know I will regret selling these.The wheels are true,and don't look horrible,but they aren't in awesome shape either.Let me know what you think these are worth,and if they look like viable wheels for someone to restore,or just use as is.I used them on my 83 LE for years,and didn't mind how they looked,but I am not real picky when it come to having something perfect.Here is a link to my website with pics.

well if you want to get anykind of decent $$ for them you ought to shine them up a little.
scrub them with dishsoap and polish the lip with mothers aluminum polish.
$200-250 would be pretty fair i think.

I could use another pair, how good is the tread? And how much would you sell them for shipped to Jefferson GA, 30549?

 

The tires are junk(6 year old Dunlop sp8000's),and I don't have them packaged up yet to weigh them for shipping quotes.I was hoping to just get an idea as to what they are worth right now,and maybe next week get the tires unmounted,and clean them up a bit better.The wheels are not in terrible shape,but they are not perfect either.Thanks for the replies so far.I was thinking in the $275 range,but I will clean them up some more.

Yes DEFEINETLy clean them up...i bought my set for 250 and they were in decent shape but needed my touch.....once they are nicely cleaned and perhaps polished i bet you would have no problem getting 300 for them.

 

wow, you guys are going low.

Those are in better condition than the LE wheels I just bought for $300USD, the only real offer I got on my WTB thread..
