Question Regarding UPGRADING BRAKES

I own a 84 GSL and I also have a 87 TurboII. Im going to do a motor swap, put the turboII motor to my 1st gen, and I wanted to upgrade my brakes also.. Will like to slap the turboII brakes on the 1st gen. Want to know who knows about this and basicallly what kind of fun will I have in this....

And Yes, I had looked around and havent found nothingg....

you didnt look hard enough.

you can go about it 2 different ways. 1.get the brake rotor adapters that allow you to install 2nd gen brake calipers onto the first gen. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...&highlight=big or 2.install the entire front crossmember from the 2nd gen into your fb. https://www.rx7club.com/1st-gen-archive-71/suspension-fc-front-end-into-fb-writeup-478516/


you can get the adapter kit either from respeed or cp racing, i suggest respeed because cp doesnt have the greatest reputation around here anymore. personally i would go for installing the 2nd gen crossmember that way you already have the parts you need and you dont have to worry about swaping the front cover and finding a 13b mount or sloting your 12a mount. im sure you will have a lot less headache with the whole swap by doing it this way too.
