and the question of the day is..

well i put some new spark plugs in this morning and got the beast running to find that i cannot get the motor to rev above 3k rpm.. i have narrowed the problem down to either spark or fuel (how do you like them deductive reasoning skills).

and to the question ... on a carbed bridgeport 13b (i am considering my motor a bp for this question) what would be a good fuel pump to use? would the standard holley/carter flow enough volume, or is something else more appropriate?

Sounds good to me, depends on the carb you plan on using. I think the most psi you would need is 6psi for the Holley's. Unless you went to FI which obviously needs a High psi pump. I see you have a Weber I dont think the Webers have as high of psi needs as the Holley's, I think their are more like 4psi, but not possitive. If you cant figure out the Weber psi, I have a RB catalog that has it in there, I will check it out for you. Just let me know and I will look.

Do you think the prob you are having is the fuel pump?
