Okay, I have a GSL. I pulled off all the brake and suspension (strut/spring) components. Now I'm going to be installing GSL-SE brakes and aftermarkets springs/struts. Do I need the GSL-SE strut holders? (The things that hold the strut at the bottom)

 

Nope.

In fact, GSL-SE strut housings are the same as '84-85 12A strut housings. You can bolt the GSL-SE brakes on to the 12A stuff.
