Question Question about springs

I am trying to determine whether someone has changed the springs in my car. I was wondering if the original springs were painted/powder coated, and if so, what color?
My car sits rather low, but we all know the stock springs were prone to sagging over time.
I am trying to determine whether these are stockers that are sagging, or if they have been changed. Neither would surprise me. I know it has KYB GR-2's on it. Seems like a lot of trouble to go through, to have left the stock springs in place, considering the amount of sag they would have for the car to sit this low.
Anyone know what the stock springs were like, as far as the finish is concerned?

Thanks. The drawback to buying a car from an impound lot, no history available. Especially when it was from out of state.

most aftermarket springs have markigns of some kind, get out the steal wool and clean the springs, see if you can see anything to identify em. im sure if they are factory they would be rusting a bit and showing their age.

g'luck

Black = Stock springs, everything else = aftermarket.

Well, they are about the same color as the air cleaner, and almost as clean. Guess that means some kinda aftermarket springs have found their way into the system.
Thanks, you've made my day!

Stock springs are usually rusted. I have a set of black Eibachs. The blue are an aftermarket, but I don't remember whose.
